Kenton Brown was born and raised in the Antelope Valley before earning his bachelor's degree in architecture from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. That combination of local roots and formal architectural education continues to shape the way he approaches the work.
After returning home, Kenton spent years working under a local architect and gaining practical experience with the properties, agencies, construction conditions, and project types found throughout the region. He later established K Brown Architecture to continue serving the homeowners, business owners, and property owners who live and work here.
The firm works on residential projects such as ADUs, custom homes, additions, duplexes, garage conversions, patios, and decks. Commercial work includes restaurants, offices, outpatient medical spaces, and select tenant improvements. Each project begins with the same basic questions: what needs to be built, how the space needs to work, what the property will support, and which constraints need to be addressed early.
Good architecture is not only about producing drawings. It is about helping clients make decisions in a useful order, coordinating the information needed for review and construction, and keeping the project tied to its real purpose.
